Name: Mira Lothen
Race: Erameran Human
Titles: GLADTOMU FOREMAN and Smith

Description:

Mira is a bright, cheerful woman who runs the GLADTOMU guild store. A short Erameran woman, she is marked as a blacksmith by her strong upper body and a belt holding the implements of her trade. Known throughout High Reaches as a versatile, skilled smith, many were disappointed when she decided to sell her services exclusively to the GLADTOMU adventuring guild.

Her left leg, due to a childhood injury, is very weak and always encased in a gnomish bracing device that clicks with her slow steps around the shop, the sounds punctuated by the sharp clangs when she hammers at a switch at her hip that locks her leg in position for standing.

Background:

One of the few members of GLADTOMU who are themselves not adventurers, Mira is instead an accomplished blacksmith and shopkeeper for the Guild. She has deep connections to various traveling merchants and contacts who provide her with what wares she doesn't make herself. With a keen mind for both craft and business, Mira highhandedly manages all aspects of the guild shop; from procurement, selling and commissions to repair work and special orders. She prides herself on the services she provides the Guild.

Mira Lothen was born and raised in High Reaches, and is well known around the town due an early childhood incident that left her left leg twisted and crippled, despite the miracles of the Overseers. As she recovered, Ticki Spritzlewire commissioned a leg brace that helped her recover her mobility. This was an act of kindness she never forgot, and it is largely speculated that this is the reason she offers her services exclusively to the Guild when she could otherwise prove more prosperous working independently. Others speculate that is due to her childhood friend and wife, Gralla Lothen, that ties her so closely to the guild.

Whatever her reasons, she is fiercely loyal to GLADTMU while offering the Guild's adventurers the cheerful services of a masterful blacksmith and merchant.
