NOTE: This information is as it was during the years High Reaches was a bustling city. This organization no longer exists.

After 40 years High Reaches was beginning to turn into its own city state, and therefore the militia had been slowly transforming into a military force with some chops. Though still referred to as the militia, the loose ties with High Reaches have been replaced with true patriotic feelings. A number of Chorav, Haerkglar, Humans, and Orcs have called High Reaches home for their entire life and were not raised within the confines of their native homelands.

During the intervening years the structure of the Militia changed as roles and expectations settled into everyday expectations and routines. Most notably was the dissolution of the Adventure Force, as it was replaced by the Adventuring Guild and its patrols of the outlands in order to secure farmland for High Reaches. Established by Ticki Spritzlewire with the support of her fellow High Reaches Councilors, The Guild to Legitimize Adventurers and To Make them Useful, or The GLADTOMU has been an overall success. Giving Adventurers more incentive to do what they already are keen on doing has allowed the surrounding Farmlands of High Reaches to be kept save from seemingly random attacks, and with the organization of the guild, knowledge that was generally shared anecdotally finally has a place to be written down and passed on to future generations of adventurers.

Started as a loose gang of adventures, the GLADTOMU now offers its own housing within a simple barracks as well as areas to train and practice tactics with other fellow adventurers, and staff to help maintain gear as well as provide materials necessary to keep adventurers alive. The barracks was one of the first new buildings added to the town of High Reaches following its settlement. Currently the guild is run by Kloink Fizzbobble, though word around the Boozy Bear is he might be following Ticki back to THIMBLE sooner rather than later.
