THIMBLE

THIMBLE is a place often spoken of with either disbelief or wonder. The Gnomes have chosen for themselves one of the least hospitable environments in the world, debatably second only to the Orcs of the Omgi Ztehh. In the center of their island, TEST, lies in the molten core of TEST's (mostly) dormant volcano. The volcano and the city itself teems with an endless series of pipes, gadgets and valves that are overseen and used by gnomes in blue suits and large black helms. The crater belches constant streams of steam and smoke from nigh endless sources. Inside the crater, nestled against a pool of lava thanks to countless gadgets and heat sinking inventions, buildings have been built, carved, exploded and otherwise constructed into the walls of the crater. The buildings would be plain, if not for the endless series of jutting inventions, tubes, instruments and decorations that can be found hanging or embedded into each one. The surface area of THIMBLE is hot, but livable, although newcomers often find themselves sweating when first entering the city.

The city itself teems with activity. Almost the entire Gnomish species is living in a small space that, to new comers, seems to be in a state of utter and complete anarchy. Shouts from vendors, distant or muffled explosions, steam whistles and a din of other noises deafen those used to peace and quiet, although the Gnomes themselves hardly notice. The Servo-troopers are often seen, in their magic fullplate power suits, marching along the streets and resolving (often peacefully) any conflicts within the city.
