Island 21

Island 21 is the a place that the Gnomes of THIMBLE would rather forget. Island 21 is the homeland of the Gnomes, or at least as close as a homeland from the 'distant' past that the Gnomes have a care to remember. Not situated far from their current home of TEST (and THIMBLE), it has long stood fallow and abandoned, paved streets once home to carts now overgrown and warped by nature's slow but eventual revenge. In these days, the island's stone and metal building stand forlorn and forgotten. Many of these buildings seem blasted out and burned, others simply crumbling from an utter lack of maintenance. At it's peak, Island 21 was a vast urban sprawl which extended coast to coast, both upwards but mostly downwards in deep tunnels which gnomes once lived and worked. The rusted remains of lanterns hang to the walls even now, distant reminders of the past when creatures of flesh once walked these walls, where now only vermin and still mechanics lie.

In recent years, rumours have persisted of movement being seen in the island once more...
