Governor Demetrius von Halmorae

The Patron of the newly founded House Halmorae, is the Great Grandsire of the failed House von Atalan, and he has made it his mission to succeed where his predecessors have failed so miserably. His father Horatio Von Halmorae took the name, and charge of the colony after it was established, in an effort to put some distance between his disgraced house and the politics of mainland Halmoria.

Demetrius is a bit of an oddity for Nobles of Halmoria, having been raised for most of his life outside the borders of the immediate Empire. He is a relatively kindly man, who works tirelessly to better the lot of the people whom have become his charges since his father's death four years ago. Since inheriting the governorship he has made renewed efforts to reach out to the various races of Eramere, strengthening trade relations, and seeking to mend the mistakes of the past. His efforts have been somewhat hindered however by Ambassador Flaccus, whom has a very imperial view on things.
