There were many changes amongst the divine spellcasters of Eramere after the events of the Sundering. New Overseers began to be known, old Overseers changed or ceased to exist, and nothing was what it once was.

When the faithful were able to channel divine blessings once more, some found that it was not enough to simply rely on their connection with their Overseer in the old, traditional ways. They were pushed to inspire during their rituals, drawing on the bardic path as well as something more familiar. They were encouraged in their dreams and waking life to bring to life old tales and new stories, to spark faith anew in those that had gathered around them to learn of the clerical or druidic paths.

This inspirational path began in Eramere, but no one is quite certain whether it was first witnessed in Maer'Havel, Skolden'fel Stand Fortress, Val'Mahkor, or the High Reaches Temple of the Hymn. First revealed amongst followers of Lalaith and Lethe, it soon spread to other faiths and locales. Touched by a creative spark, these followers use artistry, insight, and ingenuity in their faith, teaching others of their Overseer and often the Hymn itself.

Divine Chroniclers can now be found in all corners of the continent, and likely further afield. They lead the way in recording tales and songs both old and new in each of their faiths, as they find new creative and inspirational ways to share them with others.
