The Halmorian House of Concordant Cycles, as well as cultured noble houses, have sponsored Theatres in the Empire's cities for over a century. The result is mutually beneficial to church and noble alike: the arts become part of the Empires, and sponsoring noble houses, pride and many talented creatives choose to become Predicants, to expand the Concordant Hymn. Theatres are places of inspired accomplishment, though the sense of competition can be needlessly fierce. The Halmorian capital's Theatre is open each night with galleries and performances of all kinds.

Atalan's Theatre 'The Odeum Legendas', a name given to it by the House Von Atalan, was casual compared to its mainland counterparts. Those who gathered there had diverse artistic backgrounds - authors and actors, musicians and sculptors. Performance groups formed and disbanded at their leisure. Some groups successfully petitioned the House and other wealthy entities to fund extravagant performances that are still remembered many years later. The Theatre also hosted the House Choir on the cusp of each season, when voices rise in unison with praise for the Overseers. The citizenry was especially fond of its crafts bazaars and one coin shows.

The Theatre had no formal hierarchy, though the refined, the talented, and the patrons of the arts were generally granted a higher degree of respect. Meister is still an informal honorific for the person believed to be the most accomplished in a particular art, that survived within High Reaches to this day. One might be called Meister Singer or Meister Poet; some care not for the distinction and others have built a life on it.

Though seemingly unrelated to the Theatre's function, it was also home to an unstructured peerage called The Circle of Myths. Among its numbers were those who see Eramere as a place where Mythology is a living thing, enrapturing and lethal. The Circle of Myths once seeked to explore and understand the land's many places and unexplained phenomena. Whether they did so to find inspiration for their own tales, or simply because it was interesting, these artists went forth beyond Atalan's walls in bold pursuit of truth. Its members gathered often to pass the time with discussion of mysteries and to plan new expeditions.

Once owned by the House von Atalan, the Odeum was last owned by one Clifford Mercury. None have yet ventured within the Odeum once again since the fall of Atalan many years ago.
