Description: With shoulder length red hair, slightly tanned skin a brilliant set of vibrant green eyes, Mayrie appears to have been quite beautiful for a Lakoi. Beneath a carefree and happy appearance, one might see a glimpse of her calculating expression as if she were sizing you up.

Bio: For many years, Mayrie was known as Ester, a member of the Obsidian Academy within the city of Atalan. As Ester, Mayrie became known as an explorer as well as an arcanist, as she aided in holding back the Blackspear Horde, battled primordials, became a well known member of the Circle of Myths, and briefly, was even a member of the noble Van Ottrius family. She was also known as the wife of perhaps one of the most well known members of the Legion amongst the Lakoi, Relkiir Mark'ilas. However, that marriage did not last long, and she was soon remarried to not one, but two other women.

Such bold statements made amongst the non-Lakoi population of Atalan hardly stopped there, as she continues to stand up for her increasingly large "family" that now encompasses a fair amount of the settlement of Torica. Always a survivor, many of the humans now making a home there look to her to point the way forward upon the island. Along with the other leaders within Torica, Mayrie seeks always for practical solutions that keep business and trade flowing through Santina Bay, and was responsible for the increased size of the Torican Navy during the Blackspear War.

Perhaps in her most well known act, Mayrie was able to bring aid to stop the three-way battle for the island, and come to terms with a cease-fire agreement that now continues to bring trade to the now smaller island city. While some would speak poorly about the loss of their land to the Kalimvarans, this battle and its results only increased her following with many other Toricans, particularly with the death of the West siblings during the battle.

While now in her 80's, Mayrie is the city's apparently eternal mayor, and shows little sign of slowing down.
