The Nori Ironstoker Memorial Bridge
After the events of the Blackspear War and the near catastrophe that the blockade had upon the Skolden'fel Stand Fortress, the various races of Eramere came together to ensure that there were more than one single set of bridges providing access to the Fortress. The bridge was build just west of the Snowmyst Lake ferry, and was a collaborative effort between all of the races as they combined their ingenuity to design the first suspension bridge through Gnomish and Human technological insights, Chorav and Syl'vaen materials, and Haerkglaran and Orcish strength and determination.
The bridge took many years to complete and more than a few mishaps with something so new and untested but eventually the bridge opened trade and travel almost directly from High Reaches to Skolden'fel Fortress as well as access to the Snowmyst Ferry. After the completion of the bridge, it was agreed upon to dedicate it to one of the heroes that fell during the Blackspear War, and while many lost their lives during that time, one stood out among all the others, Nori Ironstoker, Hran'fel and hero of the Haerkglar people.
At the base of either side of the bridge rests a plaque fastened to the grounding supports that reads:
This bridge symbolizes all that we as Eramerans can do together. Let it stand for all time in defiance of those that would seek to dominate the world. We honor our fallen heroes and thank them for their service and sacrifice. Long live freedom and prosperity for all under the Overseers.
