Race: Haerkglar

Description: Nori was powerfully built with a solid frame, and stood above the average dwarf. His equipment was maintained extremely well, and his appearance was well kept. He looked professional and reserved at first glance. A closer inspection however would draw eyes to strategically placed spikes, and hooks, and all matter of nasty things spread throughout his armor and gauntlets. On his back was strapped a well worn greatsword.

Bio: Life on the road of the Zvarkglar was hard, and full of little tragedies that happen daily. Nori learned this fact young when his father and mother were both killed when their patrol was beset by a large group of Leapers. Orphaned, Nori was taken in by those who could, and shifted from caravan wagon to caravan wagon. Throughout his life he has worked towards keeping on a steady path, taking to metalwork like many of his kind do, however Nori is still often wracked by an uncontrollable rage which manifests itself in a wild and often terrifying fighting style. While he trained for many years to fight as a disciplined warrior, there are times when the heat of battle washed over him and the bloodlust took control, sending him into a whirlwind of fury and destruction.

Despite being one of the main driving forces behind the initial search for a permanent home for the Zvarkglar, Nori after a short time found he could not himself live there. The caves were to confining, and he found himself edgier then ever. Deciding to prevent some sort of incident that might arise, he traveled to a place sure to be in conflict - High Reaches. Far too wild for a position in the the guard, he took a job at the Boozy Bear Inn. Normally rather gruff and a tad bit unfriendly, when a fight broke out a faint glimmer appeared in his eye, and a signature laugh rung throughout the bar just before both parties regret not following the rules.

During the Blackspear War, in 2865 EC Nori Ironstoker along with other notable citizens of Highreaches lead the Highreach Militia out to break the siege of High Reaches. There, the indomitable Nori was fatally wounded while slaying a Karr by the name of Warlord Jarr'feth, leader of the Blackspear Army there. Nori lost an arm sometime during the battle, but continued on, his last words reportedlly "Feck, me arms bleedin'."
