Name: Wulffgard Saebjorn

Gender: Female

Race: Valkshir

Age: 87 at her death.

Profession: Leather Worker

Description: The dire looks of this 6 foot tall woman could easily intimidate most people approaching her shop for the first time. In the dim light, you could barely make out the huge scarred gap where her nose once must have been, surrounded by deep furrow lines running through her weathered face and bushy eyebrows overshadowing a pair of grey eyes, which seem to avoid to meet yours. A burning stench of tannin makes your eyes water, which the figure in front of you doesn't seem to mind at all. She walked crooked and slowly showing her age.

Bio: Wulffgard was among the first settlers arriving in Atalan, lured by the promises of wealth and adventure that had enticed her as well as many others. As the daughter of a skinner, her leatherworking skills were in demand in the new colony, and one year later she even owned a little shop in the merchant district. She was proud of the fact that she used to never buy any skins from the market, stating that only one who had slain the beast himself could bind its soul into the piece of armor that he crafts. She generally was held in high regard not only for her skills, but also for her generous support of several other merchants who wished to set foot in the new world.

However, during one of her long journeys into the wilderness in order to find worthy prey, she came along a beast, intelligent and vicious like none she had encountered before. It had her cornered and thrown to the ground, missing her throat only barely but instead tearing off a good part of her nose. By sheer luck, she managed to thrust her knife into it's flank, watching in awe as the beast crumbled into dust, leaving no trace.

When she returned to the city, she locked herself inside her home for several days, refusing to see anyone. It was a year before she reopened the shop, where she still sells leather works made of pelts that are brought to her by brave hunters and adventurers. She herself, however, never left the city ever since, until she had to flee its destruction to reach the town of High Reaches. There, she continued her trade until her death in her sleep.
