Few know the mysteries that lie deep within the earth, and fewer still are the Haerkglar that dig deep enough to connect with that which lies beneath. It is said that some rare few have recently encountered something, or someone, far below the earth that grants them a power seen only in the early years of the Coalition, or even earlier. Their gifts are closely linked to both earth and flame, as well as to magic. The Haerkglar show great respect to those who take this path, for none would wish to anger one who can command the ground beneath their feet.
