Play!

The following steps will help you get connected to Myths of Atalan (aka Eramere Rising) so you can begin playing.

Prerequisites

• Ensure that you have installed Neverwinter Nights 2
• Ensure that you have installed the Mask of the Betrayer (MotB) and Storm of Zehir (SoZ) Expansion Packs
• Ensure that you have patched Neverwinter Nights 2 to 1.23, its latest version.

Note: Both expansions are highly recommended. Please be aware without the expansions there will be certain areas of the game you won't be able to access.

Both GoG and Steam have copies of NWN2 with all expansions for a low price, and will automatically update your copy to the most recent patch. Otherwise, the patches can be a bit complicated at this point in time, as the regular patching servers no longer exist, and thus will need to be downloaded manually.

You may wish to start the download of the game and/or expansions before going to sleep, as it may take a long time.

Play!

• Start Neverwinter Nights 2.
• At the main menu, choose "Multiplayer"
• Sign in
• Choose "Direct Connect"
• Enter "173.47.48.164:5121" in the Server IP Address field
• Hit "OK"
• After connecting, your client will download all of Myths of Atalan's files. For new players, this may take some time.
