Claim to Fame: First and only Zvarkglar in the Obsidian Academy who became an Adept relatively quickly. His work on primordials, languages, and translocation are often sought even now.

Description: An elder Haerkglar he walks with a pronounced limp and with the aid of a walking staff that makes a very noticeable thumping noise. Unlike his typical hardy people, Hakkar is slighter of both height and build, ranging on the skinny side for a Haerkglar. He also wears glasses at all times.

Public Bio: Hakkar rose to fame swiftly within the Academy as not only the only Haerkglar within it, but one that was very active in his research, and knowledgeable in the areas of both ancient languages and primordials. He was the first to successfully communicate with the crystaline beings infesting the plains and Academy in the year 984 IY. Now he is an adviser to the Speaker of Stone as well as working on his own projects.
