Eryn Orchard was once a promising student of history at the Arcane University of High Reaches. In addition to being quite sharp with names, dates, and details, she was a convincing orator. It seemed that Eryn could talk her way out of nearly any sort of trouble – even the sort she created with her eloquent gift of gab and habit of gossiping. This did not always make her the most popular of people. Like so many, it was during her year of service that Eryn’s life took a drastic change. Even while serving as part of the City Force, Eryn could not seem to live without the need to gossip. It was this incessant need to gab about others that brought about a senseless act of jealous violence against quite possibly the only one that considered her a true friend. No amount of talking on her part was going to bring Eric back though. Instead, he simply died in her arms.

Upset with indirectly causing Eric’s demise, and furious with herself for her inability to stop the bleeding long enough for someone to help him, Eryn turned her attention to making sure no one would ever suffer the same sense of pain and loss. Her keen mind was turned to the art of healing, and her silver tongue was put to work as an accomplished peacemaker. Now some 40 years later, Eryn is one of the most respected adherents of Leeya, known for her exceptional skill as a healer, not only with blessings, but with mundane healing techniques as well.
