Arimus Latronis

Location: Atalan, The Legion, The Auxili

Titles: Imperitor

Age: 63

Description: An older man who despite his age has managed to keep himself in excellent shape. His mostly white hair is kept short and neatly trimmed and he keeps his face clean shaven at all times. Despite his good condition, the years “have” taken their toll of the venerable leader of the legion, he walks with a slight limp on his left leg, and he has since switched to wearing lighter armor. His eyes are light and calculating, and his equipment is always kept pristine.

Bio: Arimus joined the Halmorian Legion at the young age of nineteen, and as a young recruit Arimus was an excellent soldier though he was a bit brash. Once tempered however, that brashness became his greatest asset. He served with distinction during the Halmorian conquest of plains of Ildori. After that campaign he gained political backing and rose through the ranks quickly. His first assignment as an Imperitor was to lead a legion to a new continent, where they came upon the city of Atalan. It was Latronis who founded the Auxili in order to act as a police force, though he abdicated the lead to a close adviser of his his, then Praeto Julius Palmer.

In recent history Imperitor Latronis has been seen less, then he has in the past, though he still takes an active interest in the comings and goings of the legion. Rumors of his retirement have been spreading of late, though these cannot be substantiated with any comment from the Imperitor himself. Arimus has never taken a wife and consequently has no children. Latronis is also a known devout of Memnos and if not with his troops he is often seen in the temple paying homage to his favored deity.

The Imperitor left for the mainland to fight in the Halmoria-Kalimvar War.

He died in the Battle for Halmor.
