The Thalassian Sea

The Thalassian Sea; an expanse of crystal blue water that separates Eramere in the east from Halmoria in the West. Taking around a month to traverse by ship, anybody caught in these waters is at the full mercy of Niomae's mood swings and Faergol's cruel humor. Nobody is quite sure how deep the Thalassian Sea is, and even on days with clear weather one can see only a deepening blue that hides anything deep under the ocean surface. The Thalassian Sea also serves as a barrier of sorts, particularly in recent years, keeping the traffic of humans to and from Eramere to a minimum.
Two of the main inlets into Eramere from the Thalassian Sea seperate Daggershard Island from the rest of the continent, leading towards Snowmyst Lake.
The Thalassian sea meets the Amalthean Coast and the isles along it, and it is just off of that coast and the shores of Santina Bay that fishermen tend to drop their nets. Some popular seafood taken from The Thalassian Sea are trout, big mouth bass, clams, and shrimp, which are found near the Amalthea Coast. More tropical fish can be found toward the south off of the Daiobi Desert, like the angelfish, blowfish, eel, manta ray, and grouper.
