Terms of Use

The following Terms of Use have been put in place to protect the Myths of Atalan administration, staff, and player base. Players and staff members agree to abide by the following Terms of Use at all times or discontinue use immediately.

Mature Setting

Myths of Atalan is a mature role playing environment for adults that covers a wide range of topics. Our goal of the Myths of Atalan staff is to create a world where anything is possible. We encourage our players to be creative and develop characters that might be very different from themselves. As staff members, we seek to put these characters in interesting, challenging, and compelling philosophical situations. As an exception, not a rule, Myths of Atalan may contain violence, adult language, or sexual situations.

Required Age for Play

Because Myths of Atalan is a mature setting, players are required to be 18 years or older to play.

Content Exceptions Although Myths of Atalan is a mature setting and open to a myriad of topics, we ask that our players refrain from role playing or discussing any of the following topics. Thank you for being sensitive to others.

• Rape
• Child abuse

Service Availability

The Myths of Atalan staff make no guarantee for the availability of service at any time, although attempts will be made to ensure that service is active as best as possible.

Right of Access

The Myths of Atalan staff reserve the right to limit, block, or deny access to any user at any time for any or no reason.

Donations

Myths of Atalan is a free service for its players, but encourages its players to donate time or money to promote future development. In the event that a player does donate money to Myths of Atalan, the player understands that that donation will not result in any unfair or biased treatment in-game. Donations will be put to immediate use upon receipt, and can not be returned. Donators receive access to a special forum where they have first access to the staff.

All content, including but not limited to all game imagery, text, code, and intellectual property, are the copyright of the Myths of Atalan community. The exceptions to this are character profiles and posts in player forums, which are the copyright of the poster, and any established copyrights of relevant software held by Obsidian Entertainment Inc. and Atari Inc. Users agree not to post copyrighted content without permission. If you believe your copyrighted material is being used on Myths of Atalan without your consent, please contact the Myths of Atalan staff for removal per the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Players agree to waive all responsibility to the Myths of Atalan staff in the event of a software or service malfunction, hardware failure, or data loss.

The Myths of Atalan Community The Myths of Atalan Community is understood to be the whole of the Myths of Atalan persistent world community, including but not limited to all administrators, DMs, writers, mappers, developers, players and other contributors who work or play on the Myths of Atalan server(s).
