Meretokis

The Kalimvaran encampment on the Island of Torica, Meretokis is laid out much as one would design a military camp, as that is largely what it functions as. The former buildings and bungalows existing on that side of the island have been replaced with solid structures in neat ordered lines. The former headquarters of the Knights of the Golden Rose serves as the main keep, and prison. As traditional among the Kinjarin elite, Captain Malikos lives amongst his men, his living quarters indiscernible from those under his command.

In the center of the encampment sits the fighting pit, a crudely put together arena at the moment, but is slowly being built up to a grander scale. This pit seems to be the only form of centralized entertainment, for while the Kalimvarans are known to imbibe a particularly weak red wine known as Apaellia, they do not do so in any sort of traditional tavern. The Kalimvarans have built no monuments, and left those that were built before to stand. They have expanded the drydock, although Kalimvaran ship building seems to be limited to simple triremes.
