Kitari is a self-acclaimed 'lady adventurer', whose sometimes ridiculous adventures throughout Eramere have gained her both great renown and infamy. Her renown comes from her martial prowess - she is a savant with the rapier. While she has mostly used her skill fighting monsters and villains across Eramere, she is also famous for humiliating overconfident mercenaries, soldiers, and haughty politicians. She is also famous for her pranks and practical jokes. Many folk who Kitari views as 'having a stick up their arse' have felt her wrath in the form of precariously placed water buckets, tools coated in glue or custard pies.
Kitari has one 26-year-old daughter, but the identity of the father is known only to Kitari, and thus far she has deflected all inquiries into the matter with jokes, whimsical insults or threats to the most determined of inquirers.
In High Reaches, Kitari can be found doing... all manner of things. One day she might be found being a waitress or bouncer in the Boozy Bear, or clearing out a mine that has become infested with spiders the next. Though she is not in the Militia proper, she occasionally drops by as an arms instructor to teach the most promising of the Militia's swordsmen. However, she spends most of her free time these days being the face of her family's medical clinic, handling clients so Ani can focus on the actual work of healing.
