Description: Juan appeared to be a pale young man with thick glasses perched on his long thick nose. His hair was usually greased down against his rounded head and parted perfectly in the center. Large ears that stick out from his neatly trimmed hair adorned the sides of his head, and it was said that when Juan is embarrassed or angered his ears would change colour to a bright red. He was a thin man and his attire was simple and neat. Juan's gaze was generally curious as he peered owlishly from beyond his thick lenses.

Bio: Born and raised in Atalan with his twin sister Justine, Juan was incredibly advanced from birth. Making his way into the world several minutes before his sister, Juan prides himself on being the older brother. First to walk, talk, read and write, Juan absorbed information and life in general as quickly and methodically as possible. In Juan's mind everything has a reason for being and a place. It was all his to discover. Being of higher than average intelligence Juan was very seldom confused by anything, however one thing has perplexed and frustrated him throughout his entire life. Juan would tell a story of Justine bringing home an abandoned Kobold infant one day and attempting to nurse it back to health. Justine managed to keep the creature secret until Juan discovered Justine shrieking in the basement of their family home one day when the lizard had attached its teeth to her forearm. Even more frustrating to Juan was Justine's condemnation of him when he took it upon himself to slay the creature.

Juan left for the mainland when Halmoria seceded from the Empire.
