Boris Halbrooks

Bio: Boris grew up to the sound of hammers hitting steel. He was apprenticed under his father at a weapons smithy for one of the Legions during the war with the Valkshir, supplying the Legion with fine weapons and armour. When his father died and the northern war was over, he found that there was hardly any work left in his father's shop, and became worried about how he was going to support his wife and son. After long consideration he decided to make the voyage to Atalan. With a few connections in the Silver Pieces Mercantile he managed to set up a Smithy in Atalan and began doing business.

Over the years following he managed to do well for his family, and his son Jake was apprenticed to him as he was to his father. Together they did what they can to keep their supply of weapons ready for the next batch of optimistic adventurers, until Boris met his end in the destruction of the Army District during the Fall of Atalan.
