Valka

A cold and inhospitable place to say the least, it is a small miracle that anything survives in the lands of Valka. Valka is a great windswept tundra in northern Halmoria, whose harsh winters are barely tempered by still bitterly cold springs, and brief summers. Very little to nothing grows aside from a tough grass, and tundra bush which is fed upon by large caribou, whom are in turn the main food source for the Valkshir. The Valkshir as a people have made the best of their sparse world, with clans hunting caribou herds in the spring and freezing the meat to last the long winter cold.
