Mordecai
From Myths of Atalan Wiki
Name: Mordecai
Age: 75
Description: Thin and elderly, Mordecai could often be seen in thick robes that concealed his frame. A hood attached to these plain brown robes shadowed a wrinkled, clean-shaven face. His gravelly voice tended to drone when he preached to an audience spreading the gloom and pessimism so many associated with the Last Lady.
Bio: The oldest living priest in the temple within Atalan, Mordecai was dedicated to spreading the word of the Last Lady for as long as anybody could remember. Upon arriving in Eramere Mordecai took up his priestly duties with a persistence and endurance that few could match. Ensuring the process of decay was not halted, and philosophizing on the means to the end of the stone cities original inhabitants were among Mordecai's favorite past-times.
As the years have passed Mordecai seemed to grow slightly more despondent regarding his lot in life, and for the first time in his long career he seemed to have lost some of his passion, operating rather robotically. Some believed this was due to his frustration with the seemingly lack of an end to his existence, while others believed frustration with the mystery that is Atalan was beginning to wear on the man.
Mordecai believed to finally succumb to death after masonry and stone toppled on him within the Temple as the city was being evacuated.
