Ardena Bridge

The Ardena Bridge is a complete mystery to most people. A large stone bridge in disrepair located in the middle of seemingly no where, leading into a swamp full of undead creatures. The fact that this bridge leads to such an inhospitable place, suggests that perhaps the bridge has been in place longer than the creatures that now roam the swamps. Perhaps once, the bridge served a more noble purpose than a gateway to unspeakable horrors.

The stonework of the bridge, while in disrepair, still seems quite well made and the fact that it still stands despite the ravages of time lead credence that it was constructed with expert skill and precision. The bridge has seen a great deal more traffic since the arrival of the human settlers as so called adventurers strike out into the swamp to attempt to make a name for themselves. Even with the increased traffic the Ardena Bridge continues to stand as a gateway to a world that is vastly different than the rest of Eramere.
