Background: Marian came onto the scene in Torica about ten years ago, and took the Merchants Guild by storm. She had somehow managed to gain contacts across the sea, and became the soul purveyor of goods from Auviras since the Halmorians abandoned Eramere almost four centuries before. There are some rumors that her previous occupation was something less honorable, and the easy way she carries a sword hints at skills not common among simple traders.
