Myths of Atalan employs a custom potion brewing process. This process allows potions to be crafted that reflect the caster level of the potions brewer through the use of various gem dusts.

To craft a potion in Myths of Atalan, use the following procedure:
- Start with a potion base
- Grind up a gem of appropriate power level
- Apply gem dust to the potion base
- Cast desired spell on the base+dust infusion
