Ian is a paladin of Memnos, and is one of the last surviving members of the Eternal Sentinels before it was folded into the Knights of the Shield. Ian was offered the chance to lead the Knights before their current commander, but he politely and emphatically turned down the offer as he felt it wasn't his right nor his place to lead. He is the Knight's cavalry instructor and is deadly when mounted. Despite his refusal to run the Knights of the Shield, Ian is far from humble and is often prone to being excessively Halmorian, especially when dealing with people outside of the Knights. Ian has drawn more reclusive at time has worn on and is extremely fond of telling old war stories to any and all that will listen.
