Zeejan was a ninth son of a smallish clan that was indebted to the Nandia clan after they saved their caravan from a raid by ogres. Being a lowly male in an already full family clan, Zeejan was given over in service to Faergol and his Temple within the Oasis. Zeejan begrudgingly accepted his role within the Oasis and even grew to enjoy his time within the temple, until one day a call went out among the faithful to the grinning skull that a representative should be sent to the High Reaches and their multi-faith temple. Again being one of the lower males among the priests of Faergol, Zeejan was sent north to join the Temple of the Hymn only to find the Alcove to Faergol strangely empty.

Zeejan asked about for the keeper of the Alcove and was told that its previous tender a Sybil Sallus had recently passed on and his would be successor, Marcus Toren hadn't been seen in a number of years. Zeejan decided such a circumstance was unthinkable and went to work tending the alcove to Faergol. Zeejan has kept up the alcove for several years, just as spotless as under Sybil Sallus' watch, however, with quite a few more harmless traps that occasionally catch would be worshipers unawares.
