The Story of Creation

In the beginning there were the Eight.

The Eight drew together and melded themselves to begin what is known as existence.

The merging of the Eight formed the Sphere, and the Eight ceased to be separate as the Sphere formed for an unknown amount of time . Without time being governed it is impossible to say how long the Sphere took to be complete only that it began, and that it was complete. At intervals it pulsed and something new appeared upon the Sphere.

Each pulse brought something different to the Sphere as it drew upon the Eight whether it be creatures, rules of nature, seasons, time, etc. Whatever came forth drew upon a random amount of essence from each of the Eight each time. The Sphere Pulsed rapidly until it stopped and the Eight once more emerged as individuals and looked upon what they had wrought. Each thing created upon the Sphere had a purpose, had an influence, and the Eight took their own interest in those things that more deeply reflected themselves upon the Sphere.

Some of the things upon the Sphere became aware and realized to whom they owed their existence. They offered praise in their own way to the Eight and sought to understand this Sphere that they existed upon. Those that were aware encountered others in similar states and the interactions between such beings were always varied. The Eight let the Sphere run as it should granting those offering praise blessings of their power. The Eight kept their hand from the Sphere unless circumstances were beyond dire or the call for aid was too great to ignore.

The Sphere has gone by many names and is segmented into many areas of existence. The Eight refrain from naming the Sphere and its contents yet they suffer the attempts of the aware beings to name it as they see fit.
