Ava Haedalla was born to Maeva and Farthur Tovir in 2849EC in High Reaches, and grew up studying in both the Temple and the University. She was quite curious of all subjects of study, and many of her family's friends would try to teach her parts of their own trade. However as time passed she became most enthusiastic not around any specific trade or skill, but about sharing her knowledge with others, particularly the younger students at the University. The light she saw in their faces as they came to an understanding of the material she was teaching inspired her to stay on as an Instructor herself.

In 2872EC she married Thurston Haedalla, a carpenter who had studied at the University with her, and it was not too long after that they began a family of their own. Einaudi, Sallus, Sophia, Tahki, Kai, and Arianna were quite a handful in their own right, but brought joy to them both as well.

Presently Ava continues to teach the young students of the University and is now a Maestra. She has taught almost every child in High Reaches at one point or another, and is loved by most of her students, even when she doesn't let them get away with much. Outside of the classroom, she attempts to care for her elderly mother Maeva, when Maeva allows such.
