Oaet'Hril was a scout for the Vakh'na and volunteered to offer her services to High Reaches as a scout for the militia's Field Force. The destruction of the undead within the Tir'Ethele freed many of the Vakh'na from their nearly two century vigil, and has made them more available for other tasks, including helping the settlement of High Reaches. An extremely skilled archer as only a Syl'vae can be, Oaet'Hril served as head scout and oversaw all ranged weapons training for the militia's Field Force.

Oaet'Hril made regular trips back to Maer'Havel to spend time among her people but for the most part Oaet'Hril was withdrawn while at High Reaches, and frowned upon Irophr's practical jokes. However, rumor has it that Irophr stopped his pranks against Oaet'Hril after an incident that he refuses to speak about.
