Description: Well kept Gray beard and hair, very large build, one eye (lost the other to a lucky slash by a bugbear)

Bio: Kargan was in charge of teaching the Zvarkglar armed combat for many years, and organizing the Militia in each caravan group. In fact, just about any dwarf that learned to swing a weapon in the last 150 years, was most likely his student at one time. A master with his Dwarven war axe, Kargan kept the martial traditions of the Haerkglar alive. Unusually cheerful for the kill count he holds, Kargan was more than ready to destroy anything that dared threaten the Haerkglar, or High Reaches. He was instated as the leader of the High Reaches Militia in 2841EC, when the caravans dissolved upon the rediscovery of Skolden'fel Stand Fortress, and he held the position until his death in the summer of 2878, when he was slain by the leader of a horde of Ghrymzuqal attacking the Ardena. Efforts to bring the good captain back to life failed, prompting some to believe Kargan had found the end he wished for.
