Prestige Classes

We have many custom Prestige Classes available on Myths of Atalan. Some PRCs will require you to take part in a chain of in-character events, belong to a faction, or uncover hidden lore in-game. Others are now open for your selection without needing such events previous to taking them. Please review the page of the PRC you are considering taking, as many PrCs might have different features or prerequisites that can be different from what might be considered traditional.

If you are ever unsure if accessing a class might be possible for your character, or wish to know if you are on the right track, send a PM to one of the DMs who are more than happy to help you. You can also request an event to help you get on track in the "Simple Event Request" thread within the forum. There are however, multiple paths to the majority of PrCs in Myths of Atalan. Once you qualify in-character for the locked Prestige Class in question, the DM(s) will unlock it for you.

Addendum: Proficiencies & Other Major Changes

1. Base classes gaining armor proficiencies gain them at the following rate, if applicable to that class:

  • 1st Level: Light Armor, Shields
  • 2nd Level: Medium Armor
  • 3rd Level: Tower Shields
  • 4th Level: Heavy Armor

2. Of note, bards are also divine. This prohibits them from achieving arcane-related PrCs, however it opens up some divine options.

3. Paladins have numerous changes, including an overhaul of spellcasting.

4. All classes gain +2 skill points per level in addition to what is listed in each class entry. This value is multiplied by x4 on 1st level like all other received skill points.
