Syae'taryl arrived within High Reaches shortly after the events surrounding the Staff of the Realms and the clearing of the Restless out of the Tir'Ehtele. Like many of the Vakh'na who have been fighting for more than a century against an unbeatable foe the sudden freedom has left a feeling unease. Driven by a void of action and work, many of the Vakh'na have left the forests to seek out new ways to employ their skills they have spent over a century honing to a fine point.
Without a foe to constantly battle, Syae'taryl offered his services to Kargan, and assumed the role of Field Force Commander.
