Description: Flounder is a three year old common house cat with orange fur that is spotted with dark brown and black. Flounder has a couple of unique features including his crooked tail, a bald patch on his left hind leg and his right ear is torn where he seems to have had frost-bite at some point.

Bio: Flounder has always been an alley cat. He was born in Halmoria, and lived a good life in an alley behind a house that enjoyed wasting food. Flounder was plump and content in his life. It was a series of unfortunate events that lead to his life in Eramere. One day Flounder chased a mouse around the docks. In an attempt to corner the mouse Flounder steered it toward a fat woman. The fat woman promptly bellowed loudly about the 'heathen cat' and hauled off and kicked poor flounder high into the air like a football. Winded and only semi-conscious Flounder woke in a crate destined for the Frothing Otter in Eramere.

During the boat ride flounder managed to escape the crate. Having no experience with boats, a scared Flounder threw himself over the edge before realizing that the boat was surrounded in water. Fortunately for the cat, a sypathetic man fished him out of the water. The man called him the flounder cat, as he had not seen him jump. The boat found it's way to Eramere where they left Flounder. Flounder found his way to the Frothing Otter Tavern, and it is there he has always stayed.

At some point Balnif the drunk took a liking to the cat, and most believe that the affection is mutual. For no apparent reason Flounder has a severe dislike for gnomes.
