Atalan - Noble District

The noble district was home to several of the tallest buildings within Atalan. Spiral staircases that climb the exterior of these buildings and intricate carvings on the stone that make them up are characteristic of this area. The buildings in the noble district were the most intact, and the most pleasing to the eye when Halmorians discovered Atalan. The Von Atalan family, followed by the Von Strathorne family, were one of the most notorious families to take up residence in the noble district, and they were followed by many other significant, albeit more minor noble families, in their move. The Odeum Legendas was also one of the more renowned buildings that can be found within the noble district. The theatre was a popular destination for artists and performers of all kinds and it was not uncommon for the nobles to attend a show or ball in this building.

The Atalan City Council resided and met within the Noble District and it was not surprising that many of the political decisions regarding the city of Atalan were made from within this district.

Lower class members of society tended to avoid the noble district for two reasons. To avoid condescension, and because some hired house guards had a reputation for being less than gentle with those who were not residents of the district itself.

Now, the only residents are the many manifestations constantly seen all over the ruined city.
