These mountains are covered in snow and filled with glaciers, making passage north extremely difficult. Legends and myths speak of great towering creatures that haunt this savage range of mountains, though the stories are likely the insane ramblings of souls caught in the extreme cold of these mountains who manage to make it back to civilization.
