Also known as Ast'aera, the Lady of the Woods is well known by the Syl'vae, even if many might not ever see her. Mysterious, captivating, ephemeral, powerful and alien, Ast'aera is both like and unlike the elves.

Rumoured to be tied directly to the forest itself, it is said that the Lady has aided in turning the tide against the undead more than once. Fiercely defensive of the forest, she will use any means at her disposal to protect the woods, whether it be through her own powers, using the woods and the forest creatures, or the elves that work with her. She is said to be beautiful, enthralling and enchanting, though she is also said to appear quite different from any typical elf, though as to how, few Syl'vae seem to have a desire to elaborate.
