Inga - "The Comforting Torch Woman"
Valkshir Legend
It is said that in times of conflict and battle that a woman dressed in ancient Valkshir attire is sometimes seen carrying a lit torch within the grounds of the Valkshir tribes, quietly, watching over the children and widows of the mighty Valkshir warriors as they go off seeking battle.
It is rumored that long ago "Inga" had become a widow herself. Her husband fallen in battle, his corpse never to return for proper burial. Women speak tales of this woman's soul still searching for her fallen love in the after life.
Some say she was the wife of an ancient Haegrim that spans back to the very beginning of the Valkshir peoples. Nonetheless there is much mystery and intrigue surrounding this story, as grand mothers till this day tell the tale to their young Valkshir grand children in an attempt to sooth and comfort them during times of conflict. "The Torch Woman will watch over you during the night, go to sleep young children"
