The Mining and Trade Company
The Ironstoker Mining company was one of the few Haerkglar enterprises to not completely shut down operations outside of the Sandspires when the Haerkglar retreated into their mountain fortresses. Given control of operations outside of the Sandspires, and the Silentfire Mountains, Furin Ironstoker refused to abandon neither his friends, nor his various mining and trading contracts, that he'd garnered over the years. While he did not have the resources to hold the various keeps he'd had constructed along the Highway system he had played a major role in constructing, he did have access to a number of lucrative sites. His mining operations became the main source of Iron, Silver, and gem supplies for the City of Home while it was under siege, as he snuck shipments past Halmorian patrols and into towns that had access to Home's Portal network.
When the war ended, and particularly when the Halmorians left the continent for what seems to have been the last time, the Ironstoker Trading company was set up to be the main go-between the outside world and the Haerkglar in Skolden'fel. They have continued this tradition to this day, and while the McGonnalin clan still may hold the highest prestige among the Haerkglar mining companies, its quietly well known that Ironstokers are the wealthier by far.
Currently you can find representatives of the company in most major settlements, coordinating the trade of ores and gems throughout most of Eramere.
The Hran'rwok Brigade
The Hran'rwok mercenary company began as a sort of personal guard of Haerkglar loyal to Furin, getting their start during a conflict with the Karr before the start of the War of Ashes. They grew in number as the years past, and became a somewhat formidable force, and played a role in several key battles during the major conflict with Ashen'wrath's forces. After the war was over, they primarily worked as guards for the various Ironstoker enterprises, as well as reinforcing Bad Water, a contract that was signed early on in their history. They still mostly work for their parent company, but squads of the mercenaries can often be hired for other side jobs.
