Maeva was easily one of the oldest humans within High Reaches. Her once tall posture is now somewhat reduced, and she was most often seen hunched in a sunny chair somewhere with a blanket around her slender form. Her wrinkled skin was still dusted with freckles, and a somewhat jagged scar extends through her right eye. Her hair, now completely white, bore a bright silvery streak that framed the right side of her face.

History
Maeva was moderately known within Atalan, as one of many Valkshir living within the Docks District, but luckily one that had made it to something better. She was a Prelate of the House of Concordant Cycles, and had begun to help the church put on a few festivals as she celebrated her patron Lilianthe. She was also a skilled scout that helped many in their journeys to the wilder places of Eramere.

In 987IY she married Farthur Tovir of the church of Fraeyal, and began working extensively with the newly rediscovered High Reaches around the same time. She was within High Reaches itself, when the refugees poured in to the lands surrounding the town after the fall of Atalan, and she did her best to help create a safe haven for them.

One of the founding members of the Temple of the Hymn, and Vested of Lilianthe, Maeva was known to shares her songs, stories, and knowledge with almost any who sought it. This included the occasional class taught at the University until recent years, though there, her sharing was limited to that of music and geography.

Her daughter Ava later took up her spot at the University, and Ava's husband Thurston, Farthur's role in overseeing the Boozy Bear Inn. Her many grandchildren were ever a source of joy for her, though she had been quieter in recent years since the many deaths of her friends and family, including Farthur, Ashley, Talara, and her brothers & sisters that she had outlived.

Maeva perished protecting High Reaches from deadly necromantic magic and spawns of undead.
