Captain Malikos served as the commander of the Kalimvaran forces that landed in Torica. Thus he was also the first one to come to the table for peace talks; not because of a need a capitulate however, as the Kalimvaran forces owned several strategic points throughout the island chain. Malikos knew however that holding the Island would have lead to a long and drawn out guerrilla war, which Kalimvar has no desire to commit to.
