Crow Woman, Dark Dancer, Lady of the Night
The elves of Maer'Havel have a saying that is often repeated. Beware of the eyes of the crows, for they might be watching you.
This wisdom has come from centuries of knowing that some crows seen on the southern borders of the forest are sometimes working with the one that they call Morrabha, the Crow Woman. Whether these crows are actually crows, or an illusion or extension of Morrabha herself is unknown. It is however said in tales within the woods, that they are the eyes of Morrabha, watching for any weakness. Those seeing a crow will often remember to be wary of their surroundings and those they meet, for you might never know if it is Morrabha luring you in for some purpose all her own.
When humans meet a beautiful woman on the plains that bears raven-black hair and eyes of darkest coal, none are quite sure if they are meeting a simple sorceress, or if indeed these old myths are true and there is something more to those old tales...
