His hands were calloused from hard work and in addition to only having one eye, his mountainous frame is covered with battle scars. His long hair was braided and tied into a messy but efficient knot.
Bio: Ragnhild's official duty was to guard Councilor Aglionby with his life. People whispered that in his youth he was called Ragnhild the Red, enemy of all Halmoria, avenger of unjustly slain Valkshir, nomad and ruthless bandit. His exploits were legendary and the tales are exaggerated, yet people firmly believe that he was fully capable of killing any opponent before him. Once his greataxe was unholstered, he fiought until either he or all his enemies were dead. Nothing, not entire units of the Halmorian Legion nor the arrow that took his eye could stop him.
Ragnhild was an unstoppable force, tamed only by the capture of his family. He surrendered so that they might be spared and he awaited execution in a filthy cell. A young Genevieve Aglionby, then barely a Predicant, came to the cells nightly to care for the neglected prisoners. Ragnhild had not known the Halmorians were capable of kindness. His conversations with Genevieve changed him forever - he converted to the Leeyan faith in what were to be his final days, he mourned his violent life and repented.
Genevieve boldly petitioned Lord Emperor Alphaeus III to be merciful and to spare Ragnhild's life. She succeeded, perhaps because the Emperor saw merit in holding the leash of an unstoppable force. Knowing that Ragnhild's kin were a weakness to be exploited, he had the entire family gathered up, held as hostage and warned that they would be tortured and slaughtered at the first hint of Ragnhild's disobedience.
The warrior would eventually be sent across the ocean to protect the colony from Eramere's many dangers. His family, however, remains at the Emperor's estate in the Halmorian capital.
Ragnhild returned to the mainland to fight on behalf of the Emperor in the Halmoria-Kalimvar War.
It was here that he was slain in battle at the city of Halmor.
