Name: Norcross Cein
Gender: Male
Age: 49
Race: Human (Halmorian)
Title(s): Ephaesian Adept

Description:
Standing before you is a tall middle aged Halmorian with a full head of graying brown hair and a neatly trimmed moustache. Though he holds himself formally his expression is warm and friendly. He patiently and methodically goes about his work aware of you but undaunted by your presence.

Bio:
Norcross arrived in Atalan with his fiancée Jane in the early years of its settlement after being dispatched to the new world by his Ephaesian sect. After which he quickly rose through the ranks of the newly formed obsidian academy through excelling at practical tasks and organisation when in was most needed. To this day he’s met with a certain respect for his prior aptitude for efficiency under stressful circumstances.

No longer a particularly ambitious man he’s content to look after the academies vast repository of equipment and serves as its custodian. As such he’s responsible for its organisation, storage, protection and the sale of any surplus.

Norcross is known for being a sympathetic and kind man as well as a devoted husband and the loving father of two teenage daughters. What is not so widely known is that Norcross literally wrote the book on the black bazaar, which to this day is available from the academy surplus. His book’s cover attributes it to no author and serves as a reminder of his former life.

In his younger days Norcross had been a passionate and fiery adversary of the unsanctioned magic trade and boldly opposed it at every turn. However as his family grew he became more and more aware of the danger he placed them in, eventually ceasing his pursuit of the black bazaar and its allies, settling for a more relaxed and calmer life. Though the book was his last strategic act against the bazaar he still holds a strong distaste for it and will see that any he suspects of associating with it are held responsible.
