Many rumors surround the somewhat infamous Krestania Nightglove, also known as the Sea Wolf, in fact the rumors suggest that she is but a title and not a name. On the high seas of the homeland there has always been talk of the pirate Krestania Nightglove, such talk has existed for what seems generations. Dating back 120 years to a document detailing the heist of cargo from an Imperial ship through waters known to harbor Lakoi pirates.

With rumors such as this it is hard to separate fact from fiction about the true Krestania Nightglove. Nearly all travelers who arrived on Eramere during the migration over twenty years ago new the name. Many Halmorians feared for their meager possessions during the long voyage.

“The Sea Wolf comes in the dead of night they say. When all seems still, and the stars go dark, that is when she appears. Her ship, the Crimson Saber, is cursed they say. Those who sail aboard her must make sacrifices of living souls in order to command her. Damned are those who find the Sea Wolf at their heals.”

Some dismiss these rumors as Halmorian propaganda to paint the Lakoi people in general as pirates and thugs. But in recent years since the establishing of an island settlement off the coast of Eramere her name has been whispered once more. Could she have tired of her old hunting waters and come to discover the riches of Eramere? Some shiver to think so, others seek her out.
