Description: Karla stands at 5'11" and is lean like most Atalan Born. She has straight blonde hair now shot with grey, that rests just below her shoulders and silver-grey eyes. Her smooth pale skin is marked near her right eye with a soft blue 'birthmark' that subtly extends to her right temple in an intricate vine-like pattern. This marking has been there since she was discovered as an infant in the temple of Leeya, however as Karla has aged the markings have grown, much like a climbing vine covering the wall of a building.

Bio: Karla was left within the temple of Leeya as an infant one sweaty summer day. She was only a few days old, swaddled in rags. The priestess found her cooing gently beneath a pew in the temple. Raised by the priestesses Karla grew to be an average Atalan Born child. She respected the priestesses who raised her and she paid attention to her studies. She played with the other children in Atalan and she seemed to carry the same 'spark' of magic that most Atalan Born children carry. Karla, however, never seemed inclined to embrace it. She was more concerned with the priestesses robes and how stifling they must be. "A thinly stretched cotton would be much more comfortable", she could be heard to comment. As Karla grew older she learned to sew, and spent a lot of time sketching her clothing designs in a notebook. At sixteen years old Karla approached the Obsidian Academy with her idea for student uniforms. The staff of the academy was thrilled with her ideas and it was then that Karla began to make her mark on Atalan as a seamstress and tailor. Karla ran a small stall in the trade district where she proudly sold the latest in Atalan fashion. She was able to escape during the fall of Atalan, and it was not long before she resumed her business in the new town of High Reaches.
