Kalli is the only daughter of [[Tilly|Tilly Karnid]]. Kalli grew up within the Karnid clan tents as her mother made her fortune selling items to would-be adventurers. Kalli was raised by her grandmother and aided in the running of the clan encampment. Little else is known about Kalli who simply appeared within [[High Reaches]] one day and was welcomed with open arms by Tilly and her brother Janni. Kalli quickly took up helping out with the shop run by her mother and uncle and was especially helpful when Tilly was asked to step in as the [[Chorav]] representative to the High Reaches council. After about twenty years of continuously serving as the representative, Tilly grew to dislike the politicking and insisted that her daughter take her place instead. Kalli took to the job  of councilor with vigor and has been serving as the Chorav representative for the last fourty years when her mother stepped down.

Thus far no other Chorav has wanted to deal with the cold winters and headaches of council sessions with other races, so Kalli's council seat has been relatively uncontested.
