A prodigy born on the frontier, Elara came to the University several years ago after a long trek from the Nildervaga. She apparently was banished to live and possibly die upon the wastes of [[Eramere]]. Instead she learned to survive the frontier and make it to [[High Reaches]] as a young teenager. She eagerly applied to be a citizen and then moved to work within the militia. Three years of service, she joined the University and [[GLADTOMU]] to gain coin to pay for the armor and the magical equipment to allow her to maintain her needs as a caster. Past that, not many personal things are known of her.
